A Swiss-based NGO is seeking a skilled and experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer (GIS) to take leading responsibility in developing a high-stakes system with extensive
socio-economic significance. A web application will incorporate WebGIS and data management components. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in both front-end and back-end development, as well as experience with GIS systems.
In the first stage of the project the candidate should be prepared to build a functioning demo of the system based on existing detailed UX and UI blueprints.

Responsibilities:

• Build a functioning demo of the system based on detailed UX and UI blueprints.
• Participate in the design, development, and testing of the web application.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end and back-end
• functionality.
• Develop and maintain WebGIS and CRM components within the application.
• Ensure the application is scalable, reliable, and secure.
• Contribute to project planning and product development.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.
• Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Django and MongoDB.
• Experience with WebGIS and CRM systems and GIS platforms for agriculture.
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS or Google Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
