How the score is calculated

Each question carries 1 to 4 points. People and Technology each have 3 questions worth up to 12 points. Process and Culture each have 2 questions worth up to 8 points. Total is out of 40.

Bands map as follows: 10 to 17 points is early stage, 18 to 25 is foundational, 26 to 33 is ready to deploy, 34 to 40 is advanced. Each band points to a specific entry Phase in Phase 1: AI Strategy and Roadmap, Phase 2: Deployment and Activation, or Phase 3 Continuous Partnership.

Where this quiz is not a substitute

The Claude Readiness Score is a five-minute diagnostic. It is not a replacement for a discovery conversation, a full AI Readiness Audit, or a security and compliance review. If your situation involves any of the following, treat the score as a starting point and book a call:

  • Regulated industries with specific data residency or audit trail requirements (financial services, healthcare, defence, government)

How accurate is the Claude Readiness Score?

It is a diagnostic, not a precise measurement. It surfaces patterns: where you are strong, where you have gaps, and which Phase of the Softblues Claude Enterprise programme is the right entry point. Two companies with the same total score can have very different breakdowns, which is why we show the per-dimension result. For a precise picture, a 20-minute discovery call covers ground the quiz cannot.

Who should take the assessment?

Anyone evaluating Claude Enterprise as a serious option for their organisation. The questions assume a UK or Ireland business with 50 to 2,000 staff. CTOs, CEOs, COOs, and heads of transformation are the typical respondents.

What does Softblues do with my answers?

How does the recommended Phase work?

Softblues Claude Enterprise is a three-Phase programme: Phase 1 is a 2 to 3 week AI Strategy and Roadmap engagement, Phase 2 is the Deployment and Activation work, and Phase 3 is the Continuous AI Partnership retainer. Where your score sits decides which Phase is the right starting point. Companies in the "ready to deploy" band often skip Phase 1; companies in "early stage" usually need Phase 1 first.

Is this only useful if we choose Claude Enterprise?

The dimensions the quiz scores (people, process, technology, culture) apply to any enterprise AI rollout, not only Claude. Softblues leads with Claude because we know it deeply and our clients have had strong results with it, but the readiness assessment itself is platform-agnostic.

How long are results valid for?

Organisational readiness changes. If it has been more than six months since your last assessment, retaking it is worth the five minutes. The result captures a moment in time.
