Claude Enterprise is Anthropic’s AI platform for organisations. Every team member gets Claude with enterprise-grade security: single sign-on (SSO), SCIM identity management, audit logging, role-based access and custom data retention. Anthropic does not train its models on enterprise customer data by default. Claude Enterprise runs on AWS, Google Cloud and Microsoft Azure.
Shadow AI is staff using AI tools like ChatGPT, free Claude or unapproved Copilot accounts without IT oversight. They often paste confidential client data, contracts or internal documents into personal accounts that sit under no corporate retention or compliance policy. The risks are real: data leakage, GDPR exposure, compliance gaps and no audit trail. The fix is a governed platform like Claude Enterprise, where everyone has the same access under your controls.

Both are governed AI platforms for organisations. Claude is generally stronger on long-form reasoning, complex analysis, document work and coding, and it offers strong enterprise security controls (SCIM, custom retention, audit logs). ChatGPT Enterprise has a larger plug-in ecosystem and broader image generation. For companies in regulated sectors, Claude is often the better fit. Where it is not, we will say so.
Anthropic does not train its models on enterprise customer data by default. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. You set the retention policy, from immediate deletion to indefinite storage, and every interaction is auditable. Standard Contractual Clauses cover EU and UK data transfers. HIPAA-ready Business Associate Agreements are available for healthcare clients.

For systems Anthropic does not support natively, we build custom MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers that handle authentication, rate limits and audit trails.
No. Phase 1 suits companies still mapping where AI fits. If you already know you want Claude deployed and the use cases are clear, you can start at Phase 2. We run a short discovery inside Phase 2 to align on activation criteria before deployment begins.
